LEM Capital Charity Golf Benefit Raises a Record-Breaking $130,000 for Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA – LEM Capital, L.P. (“LEM”), in collaboration with Berkadia, hosted its 5th annual Charity Golf Benefit at The Philadelphia Country on Monday, July 20, 2026, with 120 golfers in attendance. The annual benefit event for Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia (“HFHP”) raised a record $130,000. HFHP is an independently chartered affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the largest nonprofit homebuilder worldwide. Locally, HFHP’s mission is to transform lives and neighborhoods by building and repairing homes in partnership with families in need and uniting all Philadelphians around the cause of affordable housing. The HFHP vision is a city where all Philadelphians live in safe, affordable homes.
“Every dollar raised through this golf outing helps open doors of opportunity for first-time homeowners and families receiving critical home repairs. LEM Capital and Berkadia are now part of these families’ transformative journeys,” said Corinne O’Connell, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia. “We are incredibly grateful for five years of partnership through this event and to the dedicated teams at LEM and Berkadia whose support has made this impact possible.”
The event’s highlight came from Habitat homeowner, Alicia, who shared, “Habitat didn’t just give me a home, it gave me the stability to dream even bigger. Thanks to everyone who supported this event I can have the stability, dignity and hope that every family deserves.”
“Five years in, this event has become one of the highlights of our year. Bringing over 100 golfers together alongside our partners at Berkadia to support Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, and crossing more than $400,000 raised since we started, says a lot about how much our partners are willing to show up for their neighbors. We’re grateful to everyone who played, sponsored, and bid, and to Habitat’s team for the work they do every day,” said Greg Biester, Partner at LEM Capital.
“It was a great day on the course in support of an important mission. We’re proud to have partnered with LEM to support Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia and its work to advance safe, stable, and affordable housing for local families,” said Bob Falese, Senior Managing Director at Berkadia. “Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the outing a success.”
